Girl Dies From A School Fight

On Monday the coroners office ruled that the death of a 10 year old California girl has been ruled a homicide. Joanna Ramos was killed from blunt force trauma to the head after collapsing at home after her fight with her school mate. Joanna's mother rushed her to the hospital after she began vomiting and complaining of a headache. Joanna was unconscious when she arrived at the hospital and doctors had to revive her three times before she was rushed into emergency surgery. Joanna`s older sister announced that Joanna died in surgery from a blood clot in her brain. Joanna was pronounced dead at 9 P.M, about 6 hours after her fight. There have been no arrests made and authorities are still searching for answers.

Menu From The Titanic Sold At Auction

A menu of the last lunch to be served on the Titanic to the first class passengers is being auctioned off in the UK. The lunch menu is expected to sell for around $157,960. Included on the menu were items such as eggs, chicken, beef, grilled mutton chops, desserts and a selection of eight cheeses.The menu was dated April 14, 1912 and was on the table of passenger Dr. Washington Dodge. Dr Washington Dodge was a banker from San Fransisco and was traveling aboard the Titanic with his wife and son.His wife Ruth put the menu into her bag and it has stayed in their family ever since. All members of the family survived the Titanic by being put in life boats.

Honeymoon Gone Wrong

A man from Alabama went on trial this Monday with murder charges against his newlywed bride. This case has been going on for eight years after he allegedly drowned her while they were diving on their honeymoon in Australia. Prosecutors say that Gabe Watson killed his new wife Tina Thomas Watson by turning off her air supply and restraining her until she passed out during their dive. Tina died just 11 days after getting married, her death was considered only an accident at first. Then Australian authorities took Gabe Watson in and sentenced him to 18 months in prison.  Prosecutors think Gabe Watson`s intentions were to collect on a modest life insurance policy. Watson has remarried and faces life without parole if found guilty.

Robbery Suspect Kills Cop

A robbery suspect in Alabama fatally stabbed a police officer and injured another before escaping  in a stolen patrol car this Friday. The whole ordeal started started early Friday when Lawrence Wallace Jr. was in a store. Wallace, was was carrying a lighter and lighting fluid. He stormed the front counter of the store and demanded money, said Ashley Rains, one of the spokeswoman for the Mobile Police.The cashier  tried to open the register, while Wallace jumped on the counter and began spraying lighter fluid on the floor, starting a fire.An off-duty police officer just happened to be shopping at the store and tackled Wallace.Wallace was taken to Mobile's metro jail, where he was somehow was able to stab and kill Officer Steven Green. Wallace made his escape in one of the jail`s patrol cars.At some point during his get away, Wallace abandoned the police car and hid under a home. He shot another officer in the arm as police tried to approach him. The officer was treated and released from a hospital.After a standoff, Lawrence Wallace Jr,24, was shot and killed.
